About Synapti
Synapti AS is an independent AI lab run by Daniel Bentes in Oslo, in his spare time. It publishes open standards and open-source tools, runs three small products, and writes about building AI systems.
The collective is agents
Synapti has one human. The rest of the collective is AI agents, each scoped to specific work and reviewed before anything ships. I write the specification, agents do the execution, and the result is checked against the spec.
That arrangement is not incidental to what Synapti publishes. It is the reason. The Agent Capability Standard describes what an agent can be asked to do. Multi-Agent Constitutional Architecture sets authority boundaries for when several run at once. flow-harness runs coding agents against deterministic workflow graphs with durable evidence and fail-closed sandboxed execution. BDSK enforces specification before code. Each of those started as a problem inside the lab before it became a repository.
The argument for why any of this matters is on the manifesto.
What Synapti does
Products
Three of them. Decipon scores influence tactics in online content. Memomee governs memory for long-running agents. Loreon checks continuity in long-form fiction. Each one started as a problem without a clean answer off the shelf.
All products →Open source
Four open standards and six tools, all published under open licences and maintained in the open at github.com/synaptiai. Most of what Synapti builds ships here first and is productized only when hosting it for other people is the right move.
Full open-source index →Writing
Field reports about what got built, published after it got built. Essays go to Medium. The longer methodology lives in the playbooks, licensed CC BY-SA so anyone can adapt or extend it.
All writing →Contributing
The open-source projects accept contributions under each repository's licence. Issues and pull requests go to the repo they belong to, at github.com/synaptiai.
There is no membership, no equity model, no compensation, and no client work. Synapti is a lab that publishes what it builds.
